Commercial dryers for firefighters are the ultimate solution to quickly dry your bunkers and rescue suits such as Ice Commander and Sentinel.

The heated air (5-6 degrees warmer than ambient air) helps dry your PPE gear quicker and more efficiently without damaging the protective functions of the gear. Direct air helps to dry your bunkers more efficiently because the forced air dries your gear from the inside to the outsite. It helps to dry the most difficult parts of your PPE (for example, the fingers for the gloves and the toes of the boots!)

Press Reviews

The cleaning and the decontamination of bunker suits are now essential. It is recommended to decontaminate and wash your PPE gear after each event. Several cases of cancer have been detected among firefighters. Therefore, washing your bunker more often leads to a need of drying your bunker gear, especially when there are several events over a short period. Here is an excerpt from an article to learn more about the facts.

CNESST

CNESST published a Guide des bonnes pratiques (available in French only) about the maintenance of PPE gear. Check out this Guide to learn more about good habits to adopt for good maintenance of your bunker suits.
